Program in Information Technology

Do you want to be part of solving the great challenges of the future that require both digital knowledge, technology and collaboration. Then this program suits you. Here you supplement mathematics and computer science with soft skills that employers are looking for in the leaders of the future. In addition to subjects such as signal processing and cyber security, you read roughly 20 credits in human-computer interaction, communication, it law and ethics, as well as diversity and gender in app development. You will become a complete engineer who fits into many different contexts.

Technology and teamwork

Ever since its inception, the program has had a strong element of problem-based learning. You and your classmates work together in groups of 6-8 people and solve problems connected to the courses you study. Our former students say that this experience is a great asset when they enter the working world. It also creates a very good cohesion in the class. You make friends for life and build a network for the future.

The program contains several project courses. In the third year, an entire semester is devoted to a larger security project where you get to practice everything you learned about both technology and teamwork. From the fourth year, you follow one of the nine optional master’s profiles and immerse yourself in, for example, ai and machine learning, game programming or industrial economics.
