Apple and Sweet Potato Casserole recipe
Ingredients:
2 large sweet potatoes.
2 x tart apples, peeled.
2 x patties vegetarian breakfast sausage.
½ teaspoon of cinnamon.
1 pinch nutmeg.
Directions:
- Peel the sweet potato and cut into 1/2 inch slices. Cut the apple into thin slices.
- Boil the sweet potato slices until just soft.
- Meanwhile, in a non-stick pan, cook the vegetarian patties until browned and crumbled.
- Mix the sweet potatoes, apples, cooked patties, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Transfer to a baking dish, cover.
- Cook at 350 F for about 45 minutes.
Baked Chicken Breast recipe
Ingredients:
1 packet of dried chipped beef.
6 chicken breasts, boned.
6 slices of bacon.
2 cans of cream of celery soup.
16 oz of sour cream.
Rice, to serve with.
Directions:
Finely chop the beef and place it in the bottom of a suitably sized stainless steel casserole dish.
Wrap each chicken breast with a slice of bacon and place each piece on its own bed of chipped beef.
Mix undiluted cream of celery soup and sour cream; then pour over the chicken. Bake at 275°F (135°C) for about three hours.
Once cooked, serve the chicken on a bed of rice.
Broccoli Casserole recipe
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups of Cooked Rice.
1 small jar of cheese sauce.
2 cans undiluted Cream of Mushroom Soup.
1 cup of Celery, chopped.
1 cup of Onion, chopped.
2 Large florets of broccoli, chopped.
Directions:
Cook celery and onions until tender.
Boil the broccoli until tender.
Mix the cheese sauce with the hot rice.
Combine the soup, broccoli, onion, and celery.
Put aside the mixture for half an hour and then bake uncovered in a hot oven for an hour.
Broccoli Rice Casserole recipe
Ingredients:
10 ounces (3 packets) of frozen broccoli.
10 ounces (2 cans) of cream of chicken soup.
8 ounces (1 jar) of Cheese Whiz.
3 cups of cooked rice.
3 tablespoons of butter.
1 large onion, chopped.
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)
Sauté the onion in butter until it turns transparent.
Add the frozen broccoli, cooking over a low heat until the broccoli is tender.
Add chicken soup, Cheese Whiz, and cooked rice.
Pour into a three-quart casserole.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.
