Ingredients:
6 cups of milk.
6 ripe bananas.
Ground nutmeg to taste.
1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract.

Directions:
Mash the ripe bananas using a fork in a large bowl.

When soft, beat them with a whisk (alternatively, use a blender and blend until smooth).

Add the milk (cold) and vanilla and beat with a whisk until the drink is very frothy.

Serve and dust with nutmeg.

Banana Jam recipe

Ingredients:
2 ½ lb of peeled bananas.
2 ½ lb of sugar.
8 ounces of pineapple juice.
Juice of 2 lemons.

Directions:
Place half (1 ¼ lb) of the peeled bananas in a large saucepan and mash with a potato masher.

Slice up the other half of the bananas, and add them to the pan.

Stir in the juice of the lemons and the 8 oz of pineapple juice.

Add the sugar and heat on a low setting until the sugar has dissolved.

Bring to the boil for about 3 minutes; then allow to cool.

Pour into a jam jar or other suitable container.

Cover and seal.

Banana Cake recipe

Ingredients:
2 medium eggs.
1 ¾ cups of sugar.
1 ¼ cups of mashed fully ripe bananas.
¾ cup of shortening.
¾ cup of buttermilk.
¾ cup chopped walnuts, optional.
1 ¼ teaspoons of baking powder.
1 teaspoon of baking soda.

Directions:
Place the shortening in a mixing bowl.

Sift in the dry ingredients.

Add bananas and half of the buttermilk.

Mix until moistened.

Beat the eggs.

Mix the eggs and the other half of the buttermilk; then add to the mixture.

Mix thoroughly.

Add chopped walnuts (optional).

Bake in a lightly floured cake pan at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 minutes.

Allow to cool for about 10 minutes.

Remove from the pan and serve.

Banana Cream Pie recipe

Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar.
1/3 cup all-purpose flour or 3 tbs cornstarch.
1/4 tsp salt.
2 cups milk.
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten.
2 tbs butter.
1 tsp vanilla.
One 9-inch baked pastry shell.
(Meringue made from the leftover egg
whites, optional).

1 1/4 cups of whole milk or half-and-half.
Pinch salt.
Pinch pepper.
2 tablespoons butter.
2 teaspoons maple syrup.
1 teaspoon cinnamon.
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves.
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger.
9-inch pie pan filled with your favorite
crust.

Cook and
