Managing comments

In the Comment & Discussion Management area, you can manage all comment activity on your Journal, Guestbook, and Discussion pages, including: View and manage comments
Approve comments awaiting moderation
Remove and report spam comments
Open Comment & Discussion Management
To see and adjust your comments, open the Website Management bar, then click Manage Comments under Dashboard.
To see and manage comments that currently display on your site, click Live Comments.
Select comments
Select comments to see their management options:
To select one or more comments, hover over each one and click. To select all comments on the page, click Select All (only All is clickable)
To deselect all comments, click None.
Delete live comments
To delete comments that currently display on your site, click Live Comments, select the comments, then click Remove Selected or Remove & Report As Spam. The comments will be permanently deleted.

Approve comments

To approve anonymous blog post comments that are awaiting approval, click Comments Awaiting Moderation. This option only appears if you’ve enabled comment moderation.
Select the comments you want to moderate, then click Approve Selected. Once you’ve approved a comment, it displays in the Live Comments section.
You can also click Remove Selected or Remove & Report As Spam to permanently delete comments.
View suspected spam
Click Suspected Spam to view comments automatically flagged as potential spam.
Select one or more comments, then click Approve Selected, Remove Selected, or Remove & Report as Spam.
Restrict or enable HTML
To restrict or allow HTML in comments:
In the Website Management bar, click Website Settings under Structure.
Click Editing/Commenting.
Scroll to the Comment Formatting Preferences section.
Use the Commenting Style drop-down menu to choose whether to allow or restrict HTML in comments.
When HTML is enabled, visitors can add a few key HTML tags, such as and . The available tags are listed under the comment box on your blog posts.

If you restrict HTML in comments, all code will be converted to plain text, and URLs will be automatically converted into links.

Disable comments

By default, any visitor can leave comments on your site.
You can disable comments for all future posts in page configuration, or set commenting restrictions. You can also disable comments on an existing blog post in the blog page editor. To learn more, visit ‘Changing Comment Permissions’.
How Journal comments display

How comments display on your blog depends on whether the Journal Page is set to Single Entry in the Presentation section of page configuration.
Normal – Comments don’t display on the main blog landing page. Visitors can click a post’s comments link or title to view the comments for that post.
Single Entry – The latest entry displays in full on the main blog landing page, including comments.
Third-party options
You can replace the built-in comment options with comments.
